Charlotte Hodgman is the editor of BBC History Revealed, overseeing all aspects of the magazine-making process and making the occasional appearance on the award-winning HistoryExtra podcast. She also curates HistoryExtra’s Royal newsletter. Previously deputy editor of BBC History Magazine, Charlotte has a degree in Renaissance and Modern History from the University of Warwick, during which time she spent several months studying in Venice, Italy, where she developed a passion for Renaissance art and gelato. Outside work, Charlotte’s love of history means she can often be found at a museum or historical site, introducing her little boy to the wonders of the past or planning historical novels she is yet to write!
