Charles Dickens
Charles Dickens was a famed writer of Victorian literature who lived between 1812 and 1870. His most famous works include Oliver Twist; Great Expectations; A Christmas Carol and David Copperfield. His writing is famous for its social commentary and observation of Victorian society, and Dickens is often considered to be one of the greatest writers of the 19th century. He died of a stroke in 1870 and is buried at Westminster Abbey
